The Green Register (TGR) has launched a new web page of Accredited Eco-Refurbishers.
Householders looking to refurbish their homes in a sustainable way can now browse TGR’s online directory of companies and professionals. Companies are divided into regions and listed alphabetically so it is easy to find the professional nearest to you.
The list will be continually updated and added to as more professionals complete TGR’s latest course, which is now being rolled out at venues across the UK following the sell out of its launch session last month.
All the professionals featured on the directory have attended a full day’s training on eco-refurbishment covering topics such as technical solutions for different house types, energy performance certificates, how to work with planning authorities when introducing sustainable measures in historic buildings, integrating renewable energy technologies and the economics of eco-refurbishment.
All companies listed at www.greenregister.org.uk/accredited-eco-refurb.php have gained an understanding of how to overcome many of the practical challenges of refurbishing existing houses in a sustainable way.
If you are a construction professional who is interested in becoming an accredited eco-refurbisher please see www.greenregister.org.uk to book for the next course.
