The Momentum Group is a network of professionals across business, public sector, independent and environmental organisations wanting to work together to champion Bristol's green capital initiative and contribute to partnership projects and activity that are helping the city become future proof (i.e. more sustainable).
The Momentum Group acts on behalf of the Bristol Partnership to steer the green capital initiative. It reports back to the Prosperous & Ambitious partnership board of the Bristol Partnership.

It is tasked with identifying gaps and opportunities for further project or policy development and improving partnership working. A framework for partnership working was developed in 2008 (the project plan) which is updated each year with the new round of projects agreed.

The Momentum Group is currently chaired by Alastair Sawday (Alastair Sawdays Publishing) and Vice-Chair, Dan Green (Wessex Water).  The Momentum Group is undergoing changes to its organisation and more details will be published shortly about opportunities to join.
